I provide talks, workshops, circles and training services tailored for the unique needs of various nonprofits, government agencies, organizations, schools, places of worship, NGOs, circles, classes, and groups.

Workshop Facilitation​
Workshops are prepared and tailored for your organization’s needs relating to any of the following fields: legal information, education and mental health. This can be for either staff, community leaders and, or community members. Examples of past workshops are related to topics of: burnout, stress, parenting and custody, mental health and the law, family enmeshment, PTSD, touch hunger, religious trauma, spiritual abuse, honor- based violence, untangling from family dysfunction, grief, culture shock, domestic violence, family violence, lateral violence, narcissism in social work and legal spaces, antagonistic personalities, boundaries and more …

Support Groups
A more focused mental wellness group may be co-designed to address specific issues. Examples of past subjects: high achievers' pressures, teachers' stress, procrastination, variety of women’s issues, honor-based violence, and perfectionism. We offer both Western, traditional Indigenous healing practices (North & South) and, or culturally adapted approaches for communal sharing, healing, and education

Explore concepts of loss, ancestral attachments, death, dying and bereavement across cultural, social, physical, psycho-social, behavioral, and cognitive aspects

Good Mourning Tea

Exploring grief and loss in all its forms-death, dying, bereavement- but also loss more generally- of dreams, of migrating from your home country, job loss, failures, pet loss, financial loss, loss of language, divorce, and failure. Grief may be continual and not have an ending point-and that is ok. Sometimes we are not ok, but society obliges us to go through the motions as if nothing has happened. Each virtual café is based on a selected theme related to loss.

Good Mourning Teas provide safe, supportive, and confidential spaces for people, often strangers, to come together and share their understanding, thoughts, dreams, and fears about all aspects of grief and loss. These facilitated discussions do not provide individual grief counselling rather group counseling; and are meant to increase awareness of loss in its various forms with a view of empowering individuals with gratitude and acceptance to disentangle denial, anger, low mood and more …
